本日は申命記について語ります。

　

申命記のテーマは「選択」です。

　

申命記には、モーセがモアブの荒野で民に行った3つの説話が書かれています。

　

1. 39年間の荒野の旅

2. 十戒と律法の説明

3. 神と律法への従順、神との契約の確認、従順な者への祝福と不従順な者への罰

　

この後、モーセは死への準備をし、ヨシュアを後継者として任命します。
そして、『モーセの歌』で、モーセがイスラエルの各部族に、
それぞれ異なる祝福を与えます。最後にモーセの死と埋葬が書かれています。

　

モーセの言うことはシンプルです。「見よ。私は、確かにきょう、
あなたの前にいのちと幸い、死とわざわいを置く。」これだけです。
誰だって「いのちと幸い」を選ぶと言うでしょう。
しかし、人間というのは、分かっていても「死とわざわい」に
手を出してみたくなるものです。

　

そこでモーセは「あなたはいのちを選びなさい。あなたもあなたの子孫も生き、あなたの神、主を愛し、御声に聞き従い、主にすがるためだ。」と言いました。

あなたの選択は、どちらですか。

　

私たちは、何度も過ちを犯してしまいます。
修行僧や 聖人の真似なんか出来ないと、思うでしょう。
神は厳しい方ですが、同時に海より深い愛で私たちを見ています。
間違ったことをしたら、その度に、ごめんなさいをすれば、
半分、神は呆れているとは思いますが、毎回許してくださいます。

The 5th day 

　

The theme of the Deuteronomy is “selection.” 

　

Three tales which Moses performed to people in the wilderness in Moab are written to the book of Deuteronomy. 

　

1. Trip of the desert for 39 years. 

2. Explanation of Ten Commandments and Law 

3. Check of Contract with God, and Obedience to Law and God, Blessing to Obedient Person and Punishment to Disobedient Person. 

　

Moses makes the preparations to death, made Joshua as a successor and offers him. And he blessed the tribes called “Moses’s song” gives each part fellows of Israel tribe blessing different, respectively. Finally it is written about Moses’s death and his burial.

　

What Moses says is simple. “I have set before you life and death”. This is it. It will be said that “Everybody chooses Life.” However, man wants to come to take out a hand to “death”, even if we understand.

　

Then, Moses says “Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love The Lord your Gad listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. ” Which is your selection?

　

We will commit a fault repeatedly. We are not a Saint. But God is the severe us with love deeper than the sea. So we say “I’m sorry” at every time we mistake, he will allows each time.
