今日はルツ記について話します。

　

ルツ記のテーマは「従順」です。

　

ルツはモアブ人です。ベツレヘム出身のナオミの息子と結婚しました。
彼女は夫と死に分かれ、ナオミの親戚のボアズを頼ってベツレヘムに住みます。ルツは、ボアズの畑で落ち穂を拾う生活をおくります。
ボアズは雇い人、親戚らすべての人々の必要に敏感でした。
ボアズの保護をナオミがルツに進言したとき、
ボアズはすでにルツとの結婚の準備ができていました。
そして、町の長老たちを集めて、正しい方法でルツと結婚しました。
ボアズとルツの家系の説明があり、ダビデが生まれたところで
ルツ記は終わります。

　

人によっては、ルツは玉の輿に乗った女性と思うかもしれません。
しかし、ルツの子孫はダビデ、そしてイエスへと続くのです。
生きている時にルツは、この大きな目的は知りません。
私たちも永遠の視点を持たないと、人生の目的はわかりません。
なんだよ、すぐに幸せになれないのかよ、と思う気持ちもわかります。
でも、目先の幸せより、永遠の目的の一部になりませんか！
神に従順な人生は素晴らしいものです。きっと！

The 8th day

　

The theme of the account of Ruth is “obedient.” 

　

Ruth is a Moabite. She married the son of Naomi from Bethlehem. Her husband dies, and Ruth and Naomi depend for Boaz, Naomi’s relative, and live in Bethlehem. Ruth had gathered the leftover grain which fell in Boaz’s field for their life. Boaz found the all necessity for employees and relatives. When Naomi advised Ruth that Boaz’s help was required, Boaz had already prepared marriage with Ruth. And the seniors of the town were gathered and Ruth was married by the right method. The account of Ruth finishes with the place where Davide was born by the family line of Boaz and Ruth. 

Ruth may be the woman who managed to make a brilliant marriage. However, Ruth’s posterity continues to Davide and yes. While it is alive, Ruth does not know this big purpose. The purpose of life is not known unless we also have an eternal viewpoint. It cannot become fortunate immediately. But doesn’t it become a part of purpose more nearly eternal than immediate happiness? Life obedient to God is wonderful. Probably.
